August 24, 2023 – TSU student-athlete Emma Thompson passes the amino acid and unix entrance quiz and officially joins the Miller Research lab!!! Welcome, Emma!

May 12, 2023 – Impending graduating Biology senior Meghan Novotny finally takes and passes the amino acid  and unix entrance quiz, officially joining the Miller Research lab!!! Welcome, Meghan!

May 8, 2023 – Christine and Mackenzie, both sophomore BCMB majors, were each awarded a TSU Grants in Aid of Scholarship and Research (GIASR) by the Office of Student Research (OSR) worth $750 to complete part-time research over the summer.

May 8, 2023 – Senior BCMB major Ainsley presented a research talk for her BCMB 443 course (Advanced Biochemistry Research) on the COVID-19 project.

                   

May 6, 2023 – We honored several seniors in the Miller lab at the annual Chemistry and BCMB major banquet hosted by the Chemistry Department.

May 3, 2023 – Members of the lab went to Stokes Stadium on Truman State’s campus and played a friendly game of kickball.

April 27, 2023 – Ten students presented their results at the Truman State University Student Research Conference.

April 13-15, 2023 – Seniors Charan Dyavanapalli, Peyton Williams, Ainsley LaMore, Sarah Holmes, and Dominic Caputa attend and present their research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) at the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire.

March 29, 2023 – Freshman Neuroscience interdisciplinary major Dagmawit Kebede passes the amino acid and unix entrance quiz and officially joins the Miller Research lab!!! Welcome, Dagmawit!

March 25-29, 2023 – Seniors Hannah Zimmerman and Dominic Caputa along with sophomore Zoe Vetter attend the National ACS Conference in Indianapolis, IN to present their research. Dominic and Zoe won the award for best undergraduate poster presentation in the COMP division for their poster on APOBEC3B.

March 15, 2023 – Dr. Miller is honored at the COPHE Faculty Awards luncheon at Lincoln University in Jefferson City by receiving the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Education.

February 12, 2023 – Super Bowl party at Dr. Miller’s house. Chiefs beat Eagles 38-35. Super Bowl Champions!
