Stephen joined the Miller lab in Fall 2016, as the last member of the original six (all joined during Dr. Miller’s first semester teaching at Truman State). Stephen worked on the DNA polymerase project when he joined the lab, but eventually became the founding member of the Amyloid beta project, which led to Stephen’s first co-authorship publication. Stephen graduated from Truman State University as a double major with B.S. degrees in Biology and Chemistry in May 2018, and then worked as a research assistant at Washington University in St. Louis for a few years. Stephen is currently doing Biochemistry in graduate school at Wash U.
