Branden Lawson

Branden joined the Miller research lab in Spring 2016. Branden did a full-time summer research experience as a TruScholars fellow in summer 2017 working on his project trying to find asphaltene aggregation inhibitors. Branden graduated from Truman State University in May 2018 with a B.S. in Chemistry and has been working in industry.

Fun fact. Branden worked all summer 2017 on a potential asphaltene aggregation inhibitor called limonene only to find out at the end of the summer when making his final research poster that he had not actually been using limonene. Thus, we called it “limonene” (with air quotes).
