John joined the Miller lab in Spring 2016. He originally worked on the asphaltene project, and then spent a full-time summer research experience as a TruScholar fellow working on modeling the ribosome (which failed spectacularly). John eventually founded the Vif project as a senior member in the lab. John graduated from Truman State Univ in May 2018 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He is currently a graduate student in the Chemistry PhD program at Stony Brook University working with Dr. Rob Rizzo.
