Gene Cline

Gene Cline

Gene was the first every Miller lab research student!!! He joined the lab on August 25, 2016. He worked on the DNA polymerase project and was co-author on that publication. Gene graduated as a double major with B.S. degrees in both Biology and Chemistry from Truman State University in May 2017. After graduation, he worked in industry for a few years, and he is currently in the Chemical Engineering graduate program at North Carolina State University.

Fun fact. He married the third research student in the Miller research lab, Ellen Farmer, in May 2018 and Dr. Miller attended that wedding.
