Peter joined the Miller research lab as a freshman in Spring 2016. Peter initially worked on a QM/MM project related to DNA polymerase, but eventually became the lead student and first author on a publication for the Amyloid beta project. Peter also worked as part of an interdisciplinary collaboration with Dr. Stephanie Maiden (Biology) that eventually led to a co-author publication in 2022. Peter graduated from Truman State with a B.S. in Chemistry in May 2019, and is currently in the Chemistry PhD program at the University of Minnesota workin in Dr. Bhagi-Damodaran’s research group.
Fun fact. Peter is the only student to do TWO full-time summer research experiences (Interdisciplinary in 2017 and Paradocs in 2018) in the Miller lab.
