Marissa Piña

Marissa originally joined the Miller research lab in Fall 2018 and worked on the endometriosis project. As her passion was (and always has been) analytical chemistry, she left the lab briefly to join the Hagenhoff lab at Truman State working on water purity. However, Marissa re-joined the lab with renewed enthusiasm in 2020 and being the student lead on the COVID-19 protease project, even working full-time remotely over the summer as a McNair scholar. Marissa graduated in May 2021 with a B.S. in Chemistry and is currently flourishing as a Chemistry PhD student at the University of Delaware!
