Clara joined the Miller research lab in Fall 2019 as a freshman. Clara worked on the endometriosis project and the Amyloid beta project, which she was the student lead on her senior year. Clara graduated in only three years with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Truman State in May 2020. She then did a 2-year stint in an NIH post-bacc research program before beginning medical school at St. Louis University in 2022.
Fun fact. Clara has the honor of being the very first Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major graduate from Truman State University.
