Molly joined the Miller research lab in Spring 2019. Molly initially worked on the endometriosis project before switching to the APOBEC3B project. Molly was awarded the Grants In Aid of Scholarship and Research (GIASR) funds for both Summer 2019 and Summer 2020. She presented at the 2019 MERCURY Conference on undergraduate computational chemistry, and gave a very memorable presentation for her BCMB 443 (Advanced Biochemistry Research) course her senior year. Despite multiple acceptances to graduate school, Molly decided to forego grad school and begin working in industry after graduation.
Fun fact. Molly learned about the amino acid and unix entrance quiz for joining the research lab, and came back the NEXT DAY with everything memorized and passed the quiz to get into the group.
